This is a core module for the Level 3 and 4 awards or it can be purchased as a stand alone module

• This course starts on 11th April if you are studying in Birmingham; 12th April if you are studying in London and 13th April if you are studying in Liverpool (see the guide for further dates)

This module guides learners through a reflective process of looking in detail at their current engagement principles and practice.

This will help you to develop a shared understanding of what meaningful community engagement is, and serves as a good foundation for further learning about specific techniques.

You will learn definitions of community engagement and understand how to match the method of your engagement to your purpose.

You will also get an understanding of the key principles of building social capital.
